Can Music Change Your Attitude?

Have you ever had a bad day? Have you ever felt totally alone? Did you listen to some genre of music to help change your mood?
Music has changed my mood many times in my life; and it all depends on what kind of mood I am in that determines what genre I choose to listen to. If I'm angry, I might listen to rap or rap/rock, soul/rock, or edgy pop music. If I'm feeling lonely, I might listen to gospel, blues, or jazz. When I'm in a good mood, I might listen to anything from dance music, disco, neo-soul, gospel, and etc.

What about you?

  1. I find myself drawn to the music of my childhood to pick up my mood. I am so old now that my music not on the radio anymore so I have to seek out an elevator to hear those tunes.

  2. Too funny! Does this includes children songs of your youth as well, or just popular music on the radio? P.S. You are not that old.

  3. I think music can change your mood. I am amazed that even my 13 month old starts to dance and gets excited when music comes on.

  4. It is something that God put in us to do naturally. Babies can feel it just like the rest of us. It is so exciting to see people react to music in a positive way, especially young children.

  5. I definitely enjoy listening to music. I love many different kinds or genres of music. I feel it feeds my soul. I can relate with you, Carl. The type of music I listen to depends on my mood or if I want to change my mood, but one thing is for sure...music is a huge part of my life.
