We all have favorite music artists and we all have our reasons. I am a very emotional person and I like artist who bring a lot of emotions to their music as well. One of my favorite artist of all times is Donna Summer! I remember being in Alabama and washing clothes in the washing machine on the back porch, when my niece came to me and told me about a song on the radio at that very moment by an artist by the name of Donna Summer. The song on the radio was "Love to Love You Baby" and I fell in love! She has a strong and versatile voice and she believes in God and I can relate to that.
One of my favorite Gospel artists is Shirley Caesar because she sings with a lot of spirit as well. There is something about a person singing and making music with all their heart and soul that sends chills down my spine. I try to give my all as well when I am praising God or singing period!
I want to know, who is your favorite artist and why?
After playing in orchestras for several years, I am very fond of classical music and classical composers. I also am open to learning and listening to just about any kind of music and I find reggae music uplifting and fun!

Do I have to narrow it down to just one? John Denver, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Laura Pausini, John Williams, Paul Simon, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Andrew Lloyd Webber just to name a few. I tend to have a very eclectic taste in music as well. I too played in in band & orchestra (French horn). And later guitar in jazz band. I think I rate music on how it moves me. Some songs just grip you down deep and lead you through a roller coaster of emotions. That is so awesome!
